Great work team, that's a list and a half.


And it seems the mystery of the free backer's ship is solved:
- Assign Imperial Eagles to those who should have them from their backer rewards
 
Missiles not jumping huge distances? Is this referring to the odd time when a ship behind you ( some distance) launches a missile at you, that appears in front of you at some distance.. closing fast? :D
 
How do I download the beta? I bought recently the "Elite Dangerous: Lifetime Expansion Pass". Do I need a new luncher? Currently I can only select "play". Thank you. (sorry for the (maybe) stupid question) :D
 
Elite is the best!

This is why Elite Dangerous is 1 of the best games out there at the moment, it's not just a gorgeous and realistic space sim to play you got developers that actually care and improve the game every time. Awesome patch notes, can't wait for CQC next week :)

How do I download the beta? I bought recently the "Elite Dangerous: Lifetime Expansion Pass". Do I need a new luncher? Currently I can only select "play". Thank you. (sorry for the (maybe) stupid question) :D

Relogin with the launcher and look at the list of games. It should say something like "ELITE DANGEROUS CQC BETA" below the top entry for ED production. (Can't say exactly, mine is installing at 2.5MB/s now)

Now one issue, I have one of the slowest connection on earth. Does anyone knows how big the update is? Cheers!

Hahahaa, is the teleporting missile bug finally squished? Huzzah!


- Fix missing asteroids in thin rings.

Can it be... a return to meatier asteroid rings?


- Optimisations for star searches

And perhaps no more growing a beard waiting for route plotting to complete near the core?


Look! Some love for the background sim!...

- Update how conflict scenarios are generated, and the triggers for scenario generation:
- Multiple wars/civil wars in a single system
- Remove some oddities in wars spanning several systems
- Wars between non-controlling factions are allowed and will co-incide with scenarios generated by the controlling minor's state
- Support multiple conflicts within a given starsystem. However, one minor faction can still only be involved in a single conflict, no matter how many starsystems they're present in.
- Fixed some minor faction economic states so they once again affect influence levels
- Minor faction conflict states can now take precedence over economic states, which should fix many one sided conflicts
- Star system stability factors now affect rate of change of minor faction influence levels, making it harder to affect influence in systems with any of large populations, higher security, development level and standard of living.
- Updated the minor faction state durations to give a much more dynamic galaxy
- Retune influence and faction state bucket values from all player actions



Can't wait to hear the audio tweaks, too!

re-start the launcher, you might have to update the launcher first.
