It's telling me that 1.4 is available in my launch window, yet it isn't giving me an option to download the latest patch......why is that?

It really does seem like FD are dragging out the release of this patch, so there's less of a content drought between its release and Horizons.

News about the Horizons beta timefrime would be welcome as well, given we paid money to access it.

Actually, Horizons & Patch 1.5 will be both released in December. 1.4 is only 1 month later than the usual gap between patches, but that was probably due to the timing of the launch of CQC on X-Box.
