Cracked industrial firmware

If the method I posted is too sure and safe and boring then I suppose there is no more room for salt . . .

You misunderstand, I did say I would prefer doing that, but time being what it is, and having others getting there quicker then I have no choice but to do that. It's absolutely no way I can compete PvP if everyone out there has a good ship, mine at best are mediocre, they are fine for PvE (mostly) but it get boring when you are out there all alone. Even in Mobius I will give an o7, only 10% of the time will I get an o7 back. TBH if people don't want to communicate with others, why go somewhere where people are.

Dav's is tedious, that is a fact. But it is quicker for me to get the CIF from there than from outposts. I do hit them for MEF though and if I get the bonus (for me) drop of CIF then that's awesome. As alex has pointed out, try science++on low security systems. I will give that a whirl.

And there is no salt here. Well....not yet anyway.

I did some of the ++ research bases from the neat list that is circling around. Easy, fast, fun and without fighting. 12 CIFs (and a lot of other data) in one hour. I've spend the last two days gathering various G5 materials and all the popular guides seem to work perfectly - as long as you follow ALL the tips (like scanning all the nodes, going to deep space, selecting systems with a high popuation etc.). Never had to search more than one hour for something. It was even fun :)

They should have no security reaction if you just scan the beacons from the edges of the facility.
There are one or two exceptions on that list, but it's usually a cake walk.

It depends if it's a public or private data point. Private ones will always set off security when you scan them. Public ones shouldn't.
