Credit transfer

I know this might get a lot of heat and I understand why but at the same time, I think it will do way more good than bad.

I've recently been thinking about doing a sort of.. gambling establishment thing.. it includes noobs and it includes fighin' (don't worry it unethical but not killing noobs for no reason unethical ;) ) kinda like horse race tracks (not sure what they are called) anyway it won't really work out as well, one of the reasons being that there ain't an easy credit transfer.

As much as it pains me to say it ;) I agree with Error. A way in game of transferring credits CMDR - CMDR would be a total boon. Not for his reasons, betting on noob fights, unlicensed gambling etc :D BUT for things like CMDR - CMDR services such as escorting, or even just helping players out a transfer system would be a good thing to do.

Sure put a limit on it of 100,000 credits or something to stop people just transferring all their money to a new character or giving a n00b 100,000,000 credits (which I believe would ruin the experience for hte new player as well), but some way of just saying, thanks budd, here have 50,000 credits for that (or betting on legitimately organised races) would be cool and helpful to all

A transfer limit of some fancy equation that I don't have.(so higher level players can receive more, but you can't donate your fortune to a noob).
You can send money once per game hour, and yu can also only receive money once per game hour.
And only once per 24 game hours, for 2 people who have already had a transaction.

So in thoery, you could zoom to Everate, and donate say 100,000cr(or whatever) every noob you see, once every hour. But then not to any of those again until 24 game hours have passed.

Example: CMDR A can donate 100,000 to CMDR B.
Now CMDR A cannot send money to anyone for 1 game hour.
And CMDR B cannot receive money from anyone for 1 game hour.
But also, CMDR A cannot send money to CMDR B for 24 game hours.

That way you can't cheat the system.

RES hunting in a wing is probably a better way to "give" money to players. Lol
Bit risky for noobs but hey. Lol

My idea was more for showing your gratitude to a fuel rat, who just flew 1000's of LYs to rescue you.
There's no real way out there to give money using the current game mechanics.

This suggestion has been made a million times on this forum, I agree it's a good idea and still agree.

Atleast with my idea on the limits, selling money would be such a tedious process, no one would bother. (In theory)
Noobs couldn't receive more than 100,000(or whatever), per game hour.
And more advanced players could receive more, but in comparison to potential ships they own, it wouldn't be alot.

The limit could be % of your current assets or something.
Or a simple hard limit based on your highest of the 3 ranks.
 
Simply tie the maximum transferable amount of credits per hour to any of the four pilots federation ranks. Lowest rank of both trade partners applies.

Honestly I don't think gold farmers will be an issue.
I just want people to be able to pay directly for escort services (not that kind of escort get your mind out of the gutter), fuel rat, racing prizes etc. I think it will open things up a lot.

Yeah there's a possibility that rich players could fast-track their friends. Partially a problem that credits are the only real progress in the game. Limiting transfers to Pilot Federation rankings or something could help stop that I guess.
