Crichtonsaurus Dig Won't Unlock

Got well into Isla Muerta Island. I accepted a mission to complete the Crichonsaurus genus to 60%, that was some time ago now. Iv still yet to unlock the dig to get me those fossils.

Any idea's what I'm missing? Iv completed two of three mission groups & just need the entertainment to get all three.

That's probably why, Iv been back to Matanceros, but not unlocked it there yet?

Everything I could research was done, though Iv just unlocked Tacano, so I'll start that Island then tomoro & return back to Matanceros

Ah, that explains it! I've just unlocked Pena and still don't have Crighty :( So easy to miss missions - I have the 'big 3' all ticked.

Assume you bought the deluxe edition but you need to increase your reputation with the Science Division on the 1st Island.


If you go on Research then click on fossils there are the dinosaurs that are locked and require a certain division level or mission complete to unlock. There you'll see the Deluxe Fossils and each deluxe dinosaur is unlocked by a certain Division rep level on each island. Also if you click on control room and then go to reputation you'll see how your reputation with the 3 divisions are going with a rating on the risk of sabotage from them and bonus. On the reputation meter you'll see a locked icon and under it is the locked item so you have to increase your reputation to unlock that item (building, dino, genes etc).


So to unlock Crictonsaurus first you need to return to the 1st island and complete Science contracts until the reputation is high enough to unlock the dig site. Then go to research page then to fossils and click on the dig site to research then just dig for fossils and extract until you reach 50%...be warned the crictonsaurus doesn't like well populated enclosures same as the ankylosaurus, so too many dinos in the enclosure and their comfort drops then they start wrecking havoc to your fences. I think they like no more than 8 dinos in the enclosure.

Also the division required to unlock a deluxe dino is different per island, 1st island is science, 2nd island is entertainment. I only just started isla tacano so dunno about the rest but sure isla pena is science for succhomimus.

+ Rep, Thanks for filling in the massive blanks. Yeah I bought the Deluxe version & I seen the Deluxe fossils in research, I would have probably have missed all that but now I know where to go & what to do, much appreciated cmdr, er I mean fellow Dino-creator.
