Cool. I'll join the TeamSpeak whenever I'm about and Lughing (and don't have a movie on that will be hard to follow with chat running).

The Crimson State Group Corporation is hiring.

The Crimson State Group Corporation is currently on the look out for dedicated and capable commanders for a new humanitarian project set in their neighbouring systems. The contraversial Crimson State Group first grew in notoriety during the revolution staged one year ago in their home system of Lugh where the heroic rebellion of the native people rose to free themselves from the binds and shackles of their overlords within th Federation who sought to supress their sovereign right to their own destiny.

Since those dark times the Crimson State group and indeed The Lugh system itself has prospered, returning to the old ways of their ancestors to create their own unique system of Governance. One which works and serves only the people. Gone are the days of figure heads and moneymen. As a non-profit organisation the CSG has sought only to raise up the weak and destitute within its protection and to create a fair and robust society for all wihin its protective sphere.

These values have not been lost on its surrounding neighbours, ancient colonies dating back to the first ventures into deep space from the homeworld of Sol. But these ancient societies over the centuries have grown voices of their own and amongst their populations reside those who would deny their masters claimed historic right to own their home systems.

Such is the current plight of the Masszony system. Masszony is a small outpost mining colony within the confines of Lugh local space. Over the course of the past year The Crimson State Group corporation has set up various branches of industry amongst local systems, strengthening its ties and giving a voice to the oppressed in many of the poorer systems unable to shout above the roaring din of their masters. To this end, the recent building program instigated by the Crimson State Group in the LHS 332 system has called for increased resources for the construction of several bases on LHS 332's orbiting moons. These bases currently under construction have placed high demand on Masszony where CSG industry has met these demands while maintaining a decent standard of living for its workers much to the detriment of other local industries. The purpose of this project being to house and relocate some of the unlawfully imprisoned families and inmates of Schithers Penal Colony.

The mining sector of CSG has recently come under aggressive response from Local Masszony minister after his source of cheap labour was stifled in the wake of the liberation of LHS 332 and improving work conditions within the CSG industry within Masszony has created direct competition that has resulted in a political shift within the system.

The work force of Masszony have started to demand equal pay and working conditions from the Masszony Government to their counterparts in the Crimson State Group and the CSG means to give it to them. All of this comes tightly on the heels of internal strife within the 'Co-operative of Masszony' itself, where rumors abound of corruption and direct political puppetry at the hands of the local Mafia family.

We require the service of able bodied commanders who are willing to work with us for the goal to improve the lives of those aboard the Pashin Settlement in the Masszony system and raise them above the poverty and virtual enslavement they now currently endure.

Going forwad the Crimson State Group promises large payouts to commanders working toward this goal.

This is the first step in our plan to raise the fortunes of our surrounding systems.

Justice needs you!

I will help wherever I can.
But I'm certainly not in it for the money.
It's just about keeping my home world and its surroundings as a worthwhile place to live in.

I may "come under aggressive response" for saying this, but alas, I only join organisations whose leaders have mastered basic spelling and grammar.

Also, I'm not sure an organisation seeking to recruit members should describe itself as "contraversial" (sic) right off the bat...

Title: Storm clouds gather in the Masszony System

Location: Lugh

A war council was brought into session in the Lugh system this afternoon after a controversial plead for assistance was received from key figures from within the current government of the Masszony system. It would seem that leading figures from organisations currently supporting the ‘Co-operative of Masszony’ have accused their peers of both drastic public negligence and corruption consorting directly with the powerful outlaw syndicate known only as ‘The Masszony Blue Family’. Further to these ends, tensions were heightened in the people conference on Tír na Lugh only today as Cormac Uí Laoghaire expressed his desire to even the balance of power in the system expressing his concerns that the Blue Family were known allies and cohorts of none other than the Silver Boys of Crom.

“It has been long known that the Blue Family of Masszony and other local pirate consortiums in these local systems have been working closely with the dark masters of the Crom system. Known to all here, these banished and relentless enemies of Lugh have sought ever to undermine the very foundation of the free peoples of this system. I put it to this council that if the Government of Masszony cannot control its own council and slides ever into anarchy, Lugh must react and protect its borders and dependent systems. Did we not swear to aid those who would call us for aid? Have we since forgotten the turmoil and the price we so dearly paid for our own independence? Our solemn right to self determination? Right now Masszony finds itself under the cosh of these pirates whom on the surface seem nothing but a menacing shadow and so it would suit those amongst the current corrupt Government there who would seek to dampen the cries for Justice amongst their peers? Do we now forsake them when they call to us for aid? Do we allow the Silver Boys to tighten their grip in our local space?”

While the talks will surely continue into the night, nobody can be in any doubt that none of this could have arrived at a worse time, as the Federation once again bites at the heels of The Sons of Conn’s freedom and liberty. Despite military treaties and trade agreements with Edmund Mahon himself, the Alliance of free worlds has done nothing to sate the appetite of the Federations greed and thirst for conquest.

My respects, Sir.
I know that you are on a pretty tight schedule these days, so I will make this quick. I wanted to let you know that myself and a few other members of the Lugh freedom fighters wholeheartedly support the strong stance you have taken against the Silver Boys and their allies in Masszony. We would be honored to spearhead the Crimson State Group's potential operations in this system, as we did during the liberation of LHS 332 and the Great War of Lugh. Several of our members have even cut short their ongoing ventures in the Black, and are heading back to Lugh as we speak.

Incoming reports confirm the situation has shifted from bad to worse almost overnight in the Masszony system. Recent friction between the Crimson State Group of Lugh and the Co-op of Masszony stemming from vicious competition and a social shift in demands for better working conditions aboard the Pashin Settlement have left the Co-op of Masszony reeling in recent days amid accusations of foul play, bribery and consorting with a growing resident cartel on one of the orbiting icy moons.

From out of nowhere a minor disidant group calling themselves 'The Monarchy of Masszony' have entered the fray throwing all their resources in an all out strike against The Crimson State Group and what can only be described as it's 'growing social movement' as it's Brehon Law styled goverment ignites fires in the minds of the downtrodden in Lugh's neighbouring systems. Speculation abounds amongst the tiny population of Masszony as to what underhand deals or motivation has sparked this attack. All eyes currently point toward The Co-op of Masszony as they tighten their grip on production aboard the tiny outpost on the rim of this backwater system.

Greetings and Salutations to the brothers of the Crimson State Group in Lugh! We have been following the recent events and the news we receive from your system always concern us! We are unfortunately in a very tight position at the moment dealing with the Federation on two fronts while dealing with Mahon expansion forces on a third. Our Nation has seen significant advances since the Lugh Wars, and as a consequence of it, but after we returned home from it, we have had a wide variety of unfortunate events and obstacles that have needed relentless, undivided efforts to maintain the systems unified and promote expansion and stability.

Things have improved, ever so slightly, and we expect a brighter future in the coming weeks. If so, and Lugh is still in a dire position we will come and help our brothers. However you can always count on us for stints or short spanned efforts whereas you need them! Independence and Liberty of the People must be respected or enforced if threatened, in every corner of the Galaxy!!

May Eleu shine bright for you and the CSG in all your endeavours!

Best regards,

CMDR Kancro Vantas

The recent campaign waged by the Crimson State Group collective in the Masszony system finally closed its first chapter in recent days. Following the previous exposure of the marketing of slaves via the penal colony in LHS 332, the Government of Lugh lead by the evidence found there reportedly pursued a trail left by a series of ledgers and transactions pointing at the local system of Masszony's mining operation at the Pashin Settlement orbiting the systems large gas giant. General Cormac Uí Laoghaire had the following to say:

"The Pashin settlement in the Masszony system for some time has been known to us as a dingy hub of criminal activity, housing a sordid regime of 'free labour' and giving solace to various pirate organisations though out local space. Missing citizens of Lugh having found themselves incarcerated unlawfully at LHS 332 are scattered all over this galaxy at the hands of the former masters of that dark place. This form of cheap and 'legal' labour sourced from the once dominant independent corporation ruling LHS 332 was a means of a backdoor for neighboring Federation factions into the slave market that they themselves claim to abhor. The Blue Family of Masszony now finally exposed as the 'power behind the throne' of the facade that is the 'Co-operative of Masszony' group through a series of bribes and threats have hidden until now in the wings posing behind a puppet Co-operative Government corrupt to its very core.

Sourcing cheap labour from LHS 332 penal colonies in the form of a chain gang workforce woring its mines and refineries, this corrupt corporation paid no heed to the rights of our citizens and reduced them to the level of a commodity to be sold like cattle. There is little doubt that our old enemies in Crom will soon feel the full effects of these events as their criminal Empire now begins to crumble around them. As I speak, many of our lost children are being loaded onto transports finally liberated from their fate. Reports confirm however that those 'processed' at the outpost have indeed found their way to the notorious 'Kessell Prospect' based upon one of Masszony's orbiting moons. Those aboard that base-station can now rest assured that the Crimson State Group shall not rest until all aboard have been set at liberty and the liberation of this system is fully complete."

Meanwhile back in Lugh, celebrations have been somewhat subdued. In recent days a foray lead by Federation forces has invaded the system once again. In a recent assault lead by commandos into Hartsfield station, the the introduction of a virus into the defense system aboard the main station caused a collapse allowing Federal forces to secure the station and capturing all aboard. This 'bug' within the system made it impossible for Crimson State Forces to defend themselves from a power drop aboard the station leading to a complete failure of the system. While the rest of the massively populated star system is still firmly under the control of the Crimson State Group, none can now doubt that the reaffirmed position of the Federation in this system has put the freedom of the Sons of Conn in doubt.

Government State officials of the Crimson State Group at this time have been unavailable for comment...

Carnage and chaos ripped through the Lugh system today as the Lugh Freedom Fighters of the ‘Crimson State Group’ led an assault upon 'Lee Hub' - lair of the sordid ‘Lugh Defence Force’ dictatorship led by the infamous Séamas Moriarty. Faced by superior numbers, reporters on the scene relayed that the LDF fought savagely in defence of their ground base at the hands of a superior force. The fighting reached its peak when CSG boarding parties entered the complex causing widespread panic.

All action was directed around and on-board the station until the LDF rear-guard force broke off in pursuit of a single Crimson State ship leaving the stations main landing pad. In what seems an almost unexplainable turn of events a witness reported

“The battle seemed clearly in favour of The Crimson State Group yet the LDF forces fought almost to the point of folly selling their lives dearly in what seemed like a hopelessly one sided battle. That was until a large explosion from within the ground base itself was followed by a single Crimson State ship recklessly taking off and exiting the scene at breakneck speed! That was when it happened… Almost like a swarm, the Lugh Defence Force broke off their attack in pursuit of this small CSG ship exiting their fortress! Following in pursuit, the Crimson State military picked them off as the LDF rear-guard carelessly failed to cover their exit. Who or what was aboard that small Crimson State ship that was so important? I have never seen anything like it!”

Lugh lead ambassador Eamonn Uí Laoghaire was unavailable for comment at this time but all reports would indicate that thousands of children have been successfully evacuated from 'Lugh 4' and repatriated with their families.
