Current exploration payouts.

Does anyone know the current rates for each planet type? I found a chart online but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I'd post a screenshot but I don't know how to from a tablet. It says ELWs get you 627,885 credits and neutron stars 54,782.

This should be the latest info we have:

There is a thread on page 2 or 3 about that, basically the payout is calculated with a formula based on the masses of the bodies and the numbers on that chart are a base value for each type. Also terraforming bonus is weird.

But you do know that getting that 200% bonus requires heavy grinding with increased risk of getting shot down?
You need 10.000 merits for rank 5 to recieve the bonus.

Yeah, the grind is going to suck. Getting killed would suck even more. I've got a cutter though. Probably the best ship for it. I'll just put the smallest shields I dare risk and the rest cargo racks. Plus I'll have to remember to play in solo.

That's the one I've been looking at. I'll go by that. Only need a rough estimate. I've been scanning every potential terraformable and obviously every water/ELW and ammonia worlds so coupled with that 200% powerplay bonus you can get, I stand to make a manure load of money when I eventually get back. :)

You know, EDDiscovery will also collect your exploration data and gives that estimate for you. ;)

I would like to hear how that turned out afterwards :)

Lol. Shouldn't be too much risk, maybe. :) Cutter is fast enough to submit and boost away from any interdiction.
Plus you can put on a 6A shield gen and shield boosters, and have enough shields that interdicting NPCs won't scratch it.

This is the thread you mentioned : https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/232000-Exploration-value-formulae?highlight=formulae

Terra Candidate bonus is weird for waterworlds and HMCs, based on the data we are able to access. In some cases it's entirely predictable, others it's close to predictable, but in a good number it's predictably unpredictable, lol.

Fun fact: the above image is missing not only the terraforming candidate values for HMCPs, but also for Metal Rich terraforming candidate planets: those also exist. Of course, they are terribly rare.

What is the current pay out for a Raxxla-type world?
