Current mapped systems need to be reset to level the playing field

So the rush to get first mapped on key systems was completely luck based due to the servers. I propose they be reset again once servers are fixed in order to level the playing field and give people a fair chance at getting first mapped tags.

It is always luck based. Some will be working overtime. Some live in countries where it is the middle of the night. Others are stuck in a traffic jam.

I almost had first mapped on a gas giant and all it's orbiting bodies in Shinra but due to bad luck I got booted and haven't been able to get back in since. I'm 99% sure I'm not the only one who planned to play when the patch dropped and go for key first mapped bodies.

It's completely unfair that people who got lucky and didn't get dropped get their pick of any first discoveries.

It is also completely unfair some people didn't get to play because they are fast asleep and have to go to work in three hours. It is also unfair others cant play because they are stuck in traffic. It is completely unfair some had an accident today and are in hospital. It is very unfair some people are away on a business trip.

fyi, this is what makes first discoveries worth a crap for any sane person with half a life. but if you are a kid obsessed with that sort of thing, fair enough, then i might suggest that the galaxy is truly ginormous and you are guaranteed your full system first mapped discovery tag if you just move around a bit. otherwise, you just lost a competition that is straight out idiotic, so this is not a real loss, you'll get over it!

I agree with the OP. All the first-discovered/mapped/whatever data should be cleared. It's not fair that I don't get to be first discovered on everything just because somebody else got there first. It's not my fault that I don't play 24/7 or go places other people went first.

Is it really that important? If you want first mapped, then go exploring, there's almost 400 million stars outside the bubble to get your name on...
Does that mean it's completely unfair that all the hard work I put in mapping the Heart and Soul nebulae back when the best jump range you could squeeze out of an Asp was about 35 LY has been wiped out and someone else will now get their name on all those stars thet I had? Not really. Good luck to them, there are plenty of stars to go around.
