Cursor getting stuck/ Panning glitch?

Does any else get these bugs where the screen starts to pan uncontrollably and the only way to stop it is minimizing the game? Another one is the cursor disappearing and getting stuck so that you can no longer turn the screen. These bugs have been appearing so frequently and it's extremely annoying. The latter bug can only be resolved by restarting the game.

I get the panning one a lot but thought it was something to do with my mouse, the Rollermouse which uses a roller bar rather than a trackball or optic sensor and does weird things in games when it runs out of room.

Happens to me too, and all I've got is a dollar store wireless mouse. I notice that it happens to me the longer I have the game running, but fortunately it's not too frequent. This a rather old and very known bug that we've not gotten any word about from the devs.

That's actually a relief. I had to buy the rollermouse as I can't use a regular one with my wrist brace and I'm still wincing at the cost. But at least I can stop blaming it!

This bug keeps getting worse and worse. Can't play for more than 20 minutes without it happening. So infuriating!

One way that I've found to stop the panning, at least momentarily, is to type the key that is the same direction that the camera is panning. For example, if you're panning to the right, type d.

This usually stops the panning for me, in that moment. But the problem will usually reappear fairly shortly after. So I find that this tip is mostly helpful to stop the panning long enough for me to regroup, or maybe finish one last thing, before I need to restart the game.

I have found that some of the directional control items tend to go haywire for me sometimes (except for the press the center mouse button to move the camera - that's totally broken for me) - I had the q and e keys switch randomly from lower/raise to a side to side pan. I went into the settings and they clearly showed that the q/e keys were supposed to raise/lower the camera but they weren't. I ended up going into both setting areas where those keys were mapped and basically re-selecting them. Folks might want to go into their settings and re-select the panning keys and see if htat helps.
