Custom Coaster Supports

Having a custom support option allows coasters to look more realistic by not only having single and 45' angle beams (on B&Ms). Currently in the game, the auto support beams are very thin and have a wide angle split when highly elevated. The beams are also always directly under the track-- meaning: the footers are aligned with the angle of the banking's axis. As of now, the closest option is to remove the 'ugly' supports which would leave the track floating. Having the freedom to move the footers and select the size of the beams (and HOPEFULLY add flanges, beam nodes, and change footer types) would add so much to the already amazing coaster builder!

Image 1: the support beams are only optimised to face outward rather than inward, sprawling out in the park.

Image 2: because the banking is the same, the support beams are stacking rather than two beams separating in the middle.

Thank you for reading! And while I'm here, are we getting any fencing options anytime soon? There are a lot of danger zones in these parks!

My idea is that you would select an option that would fade out the coaster. You would then click on the ground to place footers. After placing footers, maybe you would select track/ other support pieces to connect the footers to.

Similar to NoLimits 2, yes!

the easier fix here, is to provide the models they use for coaster supports as scenery pieces and lift the restriction a bit on the undersides of the track......less time and work for them, and allows complete control of customization for us.

I totally agree on this, Planet Coaster desperately needs custom coaster supports.

This is what happens when you build a track above another, whole sections of track floating in the air [mad]

^ God, I hate that. It's especially annoying on woodies because it means you can't layer tracks over each other like on many real wooden coasters.
