Dark inside a Tower?

Hi,
I have build a Tower without windows and position one colored light.
When I am in then the Tower don't be dark?
Must be there an extra flag put on that it will be dark inside.

Some other idea was an indoor coaster in a closed building will be don't dark too.
For indoor Coaster I don't want to do all under the ground.

The only thing that blocks light in the game is about 10m of dirt. Building parts do not block light, so the only way to make a building dark inside is to bury it under at least 10m of dirt.

The devs have said this is a limitation of the game engine that they spent a lot of time trying to work around but ultimately never came up with a way to have building parts block light. So, we have to deal with things as they are.

There are a number of advantages to the current system. It helps you do all sorts of useful things. The only thing it's bad at is making complete darkness, so you just have to bury whatever you want in darkness.
