Never heard of The Expanse until this thread.. I see iTunes has the 1st season available, perhaps I'll give it a go!
There is only one season right now, but I'm ready for the second.
I'll give some of these space shows a try. I'm still disappointed they ended farscape prematurely.
I'm mostly disappointed that they canned firefly but that's another story.

Yes I know I'm bumping this thread, but I've only just stumbled on this show and I LOVE it! Proper addicted to it right now!
Also go for killjoys. It's not as dark, but still pretty good.
Haha. I watched a few episodes of this show and it's not bad. The characters are a bit too one dimensional and cliche but it's entertaining.

I'm half way to season 2 and I'm enjoying but have to agree that the Expanse seems better. Really waiting on season two for that one. The story line is a little harder to follow but has more intrigue in my opinion.

Ah, I was thinking of book one being called Leviathan Wakes which was actually episode one too I think. I didn't realize the book series was also called the Expanse...I won't lie, I skimmed some of the thread

I can't wait for season 2 in January. The next book in the series comes out in December. At first I hated what they did in the series, but after a few episodes it turned out quite well. The effects are great too.

There are times when the show is just kind of cheesy, but Dutch.........man, stunning. Sometimes I can't take my eyes off her!
