I've been wondering something. Does the likelyhood of getting data from scanning a ship (with the regular sensors) increase if you are closer to the target (2000m vs 5000m for instance) during the scan? I'm not sure I've paid attention to it long enough to render an opinion. Does anyone else think they know the answer?
