Exactly. Now we know why they haven't been fixed/addressed. Frontier has been too busy developing EXCLUSIVELY on the Xbox.

They paid to develop Elite for PC and Mac, and they got exactly what they paid for. Consider CQC as a new game, set in the same universe, paid for by Microsoft to showcase their new "Early Access" platform.
Missed the part that CQC will also come to the PC? So they have ultimately taken nothing away from the PC.
Absolutely not. Please read the blog again if you're unsure, and try to be reasonable. I know this is great for Elite: Dangerous and the team who have worked so hard on making the game an amazing experience. It will only improve the support we can offer to our existing playerbase.

What i´m really really interested its about 1.3.04, .0.5, .0.6, ...
And what about Powers local chat channels? Any plans about that? Doesn´t these seem kind of urgent?

The other elephant in the room is what happens to all the xbox players who spend a couple of months of fast paced ship on ship action and then get released in to the galaxy at large to do things like "Ship 5t of veg 20lyrs to become a general"?
Remember that ship you've been playing with for the past 2 months? Well now if you want to fly it you have to spend 50hrs flying back and forth in 2 systems trading to be able to afford it . . .
Given the very obvious lack of foresight that went into powerplay it's clear that they don't really have a solid idea of what they're doing or what their overall plan is. The past few weeks have demonstrated a very ad-hoc approach to development.
Yes, it makes sense to put out this arena shooty thing on the Xbox first if you look at it superficially. But as you say, that will lead to consequences when you really think about it. For example, if World of Tanks gave all new players the Maus or IS-7 for a week, then threw them back to tier 1, hardly anyone would bother with it.
Giving people the end game at the start of the game is just an amateur move, unless you can only use ships from your Elite save in these PvP arenas.
