Ibastavd - "Two Questions for you:

1. Will there be a rear view added to the game at any point?
2. Will you consider adding a padlock view to the game?
Keep up the fantastic work - we love you! (but not in a man sort of way!)"

We are looking at how best to include a rear view, and certainly it is being considered, especially for the larger ships - but we wanted to see how much it was really needed (oh, and I'm too stupid to know what you mean by a padlock view...).

Padlock views are to keep a "target" ship in view automatically.

Frank - "<puff puff> Am I too late? The game is going to be peppered with tributes. If you could pay homage to only one person, who would it be?"

Well, there is already a tribute that went into Alpha 4 (and is in PB1 too), to the excellent late Colin Pillinger and his Beagle 2 spacecraft - with the station "Beagle 2 Landing".

In Frontier there were plenty of tributes too - for example to the wonderful late Richard Feynman - the planet "Feynman" as the nearest exoplanet to Earth.

That was one of my favourite bits in The Big Bang Theory.. "You can come in. He ain't doing anything important. He's just doodling on his blackboard"

A padlock view is when you have some guy permanently standing behind your chair with his hands on your head, moving your head towards the enemy saying "there it is, shoot there dummy" :D

Padlock view is where your avatar would do his best to keep his vision locked on his target (I've seen some implementation where you apparently have an owl's neck or more!!!). I'm not a fan of it personally in the flightsims I've had it available to me, but I understand that some people like it.

When are we going to see ANY Imperial ships in game? Is it going to be before Standard Beta or maybe after E3?

Can you tell us anything about some of the exciting missions we have to look forward to? How will contacts and missions provide more depth to the game?

the question of the questions ( a question that someone is too shy to ask, so i ask it for him)

- there will be some kind of external view of our ship in the immediate future or later ?

thanks for my previous answered question and keep up with the good work.
you are the best !

edit now: whoops wrong thread, sorry michael

Just a simple question from me if there is still time, Are the stations in geo-stationary orbit around their planets or do they circle the planets?
