No - the Power's names need to remain consistent; we can't have them changing all the time.

For ones that have risen from a minor local faction by player action, we might be able to do something there.

On a more serious note, will the 'dropped cannisters marked as illegal' issue be addressed so that cannisters picked up without resorting to piracy etc (Ie free-floating or cannisters dropped by a wimp who interdicted me and then starts chickening out) are no longer marked as illegal or stolen?

With the implementation of Powerplay will in the near future the ability to have player fleets be coming so guild/clan members can all join to stay together with either a capital ship if respected enough or maybe a station to run? a thought and your opinion appreciated and the game is awesome and continues to impress me

Crime, Penalty & Punishment system.

Hi David,

Will there be an overhaul in the Crime & Punishment system, to cope with sociopathic behaviour in quite a few players? (i.e. the not insignificant number of players who choose to blow ships up meaninglessly but use the current game mechanics as justification for "doing what they want").

Yes, I'd like to know this too. The Pilots Federation is supposed to frown on this.

Yes, they can access "global" news, but for system-local news, you need to be in the system in question.

Do you feel there is any merit to the claim that people feel like they have to play in solo to be able to achieve the top contributor slots as it's much easier? (Less spawns, more risk in Open)

Especially when Powerplay, like Community Goals rewards those who are in the top slots with more CC (?) and influence.
