Day and Night Cycle

So we see this one suggested quite a lot, I dont think it's the easiest thing but then I'm also not familiar with the engine you're working on and it's limitations so I'll suggest away and you decide if it's possible if the community agrees.

While i love that we were given the ability to change the time of day in the settings, it's a bit clunky to go there and do that manually and also highlights how important a change in lighting such as this can really be. It can make your park look entirely different, giving it a very important breath of fresh air once in a while, as well as making the world itself feel dynamic. To an extent even JPOG had this, although they kindof bundled it in their weather types changing the lighting a lot, like how the heatwave would look like your Dusk, or the Heavy Storm almost like a night.

I suggest you create an additional time of day - Dawn, and cycle these. Day would be the longest as it is the standard and we dont want the switches to happen too often. Dawn and Dusk should be the shortest, naturally and the transitions should be fairly gradual, not fast as that would be jarring, but i don't think we'll need them to be fancy, with changing skyboxes and the moon moving. If you do want to go the extra mile you could make the sun and moon move and that would affect shadows, it WOULD really add a lot of weight to this, but i understand that sometimes we have to make concessions, so only if you see it as possible.

I do not think this should force dinos to sleep during the night, it might introduce too many issues, but i do think a natural way to handle it is if most non-nocturnal dinos get tired faster in the night time. If you ever add something like the Troodon, they are nighttime predators and would be very much the reverse of that.

Further, this feature could be an optional toggle in the settings and if toggled off, we can just select the time of day as we can now. If this is the case, the time of day chosen will not affect dinosaur behavior, if that is implemented.

I think the day and night cycle would be fantastic to see, since it adds realism to the game and the animals, in fact in the trailer First In-Game Footage, 2 sequences are appreciated, that of the tyrannosaur sleeping and a triceratops, I believe that this sequence is made after having shot a tranquilizer dart, in that sense you could apply the same logic to the day and night sequence, in which at a certain moment when the night mode is triggered the dinosaurs will activate the tranqulizante mode and Then they wake up alone. (Because now when the ACU is asked to reassure the dinosaurs they do not wake up again haha, that should also be corrected) But in the end, I think there are certain patterns that are already in the game that could be recycled, improved and applied to other sequences to give more dynamism to the game.

Amazing, with the dinosaurs 'sleep' resource depleting faster at night, to encourage them to sleep at night, and depleting slower during the day. Awesome!
 
While all this would be utterly nice, I don't think it's such a good idea: for one hand, we are constricted enough by the devs having to keep within consoles' range of management and, for another, it would be really weird if the cycle were too fast or too slow and, reallistically, it's bound to be anyway. Dinos wouldn't "live" according to that circadian cycle and that would add another weirdness point to their already bizarre behaviour, in my opinion.
 
I really like this idea. The game definitely does not have enough of this cycle. Since I do not have a rating scale, I will leave this rating here for 5!
