Dear Fdev: Can you stop nerfing the thargoids in every way?

I'm one of the (many) people running tests in AXI.
But have you considered that the shotgun pellets look much more cooler on impact, especially if you have a weapon color equipped?

The shards are "more burst" with rapid fire and more reloads during the time you can shoot the core so they're kinda only better in practice if you have other people doing the vents since getting the first burst off as early as possible is critical and the shard range is much shorter. But at that point the core is likely to die before you can do all your damage anyway.

The larger clip on the size 3 missiles means that emptying half a clip to have a fresh mag at the start of the next core cycle is unfeasible.

Also the thermals for the shards are surprisingly better than the engineered missiles.

I think it's just something different to use for flavour so the titan core killing is a bit less boring since you can do the pew pew with a different pew.
 
First it was nerfing the war system so that entire star sectors could be retaken in a week, then it was introducing the Spire sites that make taking back groups of systems easier, then the removal of Glaive's from hyper and interdictions because people were complaining that reaching the Titan was too hard.

Now they're introducing Ram Tah doing engineering to make your guardian equipment immune to the Anti-Guardian-Field? Why not just give players a class 4 AX torpedo that instantly kills the Titan when it's launched and rewards 10 billion credits and Arx while you're at it? That seems to be the direction this is going


Here's to hoping the war wraps up soon, so the rest of the games roles could have like 10% of the effort put into them that AX has.
 
I wasn't looking forward to probulating more titans for the materials so the fact that these mods don't even work on boosters, and the lackluster weapon performance, is a blessing in disguise.
 
Just more smoke and mirrors, should read "SOME GUARDIAN MODULES", nothing for FSB, not going to guess if It's the same for Hull/Module Reinforcements, or any of the other types.
Wait... it DOESN'T work on the FSB?

Right after they release a new drive for getting to the titan that needs an FSB or injection just to jump to the system at all? Sigh guess I'll need more Yttrium if I want to be able to leave the next ones :/

Ikr, what a missed opportunity. Ram Tah can reduce the jump range bonus and I'll still get it.

As excellently explained by cmdr Mechan, this isn't such a game-breaker as you assume(d) it to be.

I'm not the only one, first this FSD C Engine was produced and deteriorated, then the Weapons. I go and come back again
