Dear Frontier, can we have Flight Assist Default setting (the same way we have it for srv), please?

Drive assist is already on by default.
If you're referring to the crazy controlling, try a planet with a higher gravity rating that keeps you rooted to the ground so you don't bounce out of control. Traction is also much better at higher gravities.
HR 6467 2 has a gravity of 1.3. You might find you have better traction and control to get used to the SRV there.

Drive assist has a default option in the menu, it sounds like Tandko is asking for a similar option for flight assist.
3.0 also introduced a bug in flight assist, FA will automatically turn itself on.

Ok, I see people do not understand the problem since they are not effected, so I will elaborate:
I am talking about default state of "Flight Assist" which we always have set as ON (not Drive Assist, which is by the way, @Adhock, is by default ON if you set it so, there is a setting for that), "toggle" button works only for current instance as soon as you change instance it changes to default state, which is hardcoded as ON.

So we are right, but the OP is unaware it is a bug.

Fligt asstit iz basicaly a hax 4 nobs. It shud be banned. I tuned it off the first second i started the game. But im a beter palyer then most of u kedz....
Exactly. Also I would want to set FA button to "hold" (rather then "toggle") to TURN ON flight assist when I need it. That is why the default state option is would be even better than what we had before the bug.
Looks like you have removed the spell checker as well. You may want to re-think that.
I don't know why people thought you were talking about the SRV. Yeah we should have the same option as the SRV, semi-permanent toggle in the right holo-panel.

That is also. Thanks to your post I actually checked rotational correction (I knew about that option but never bothered to check
), and with it off that really makes much smoother docking experience, the mail slot doesn't try to rip off back of my ship anymore.
