I have had many arguments with people who just do not understand that UK has daylight saving too, alot of people I have played mainly from the continent think we do not have daylight saving so they think they are 2 hours ahead of us, infact because we are on BST and not GMT they are only 1 hour ahead, they just cant get their heads round it.

Quote UT universal time from now on as that is what is being used for Elite. If they are unsure as to the time, do a search as there are lots of websites that give the time including UT (i.e. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ - that was the first I came to but you may prefer a different site, UT is noted at the bottom).

I saw you fighting for the other side. Wondered what you were doing. It was mostly Feds with the occasional Empire player, but not many. Yesterdays battle as not a great experience for me due to the lag and players and NPCs vanishing before my eyes. Lots of ´rubber-banding´ too.

My client does not normally crash I normally try and Hyperspace when my ship takes over 40% hull damages the idea being to try and save my ship .
Even so the number of times I am having to pay the insurance fee is now going up at an alarming rate . Though I am still making credits because I can normally make over 20000 credits when I just play for a little while .

EDIT

Yes for a time I volunteered to change sides because the federation pilot's outnumbered the Empire pilot's 2 to 1 so the battle was a little unfair .

I feel bad I missed it, technical issues aside. I could've bolstered the Imperial side at least. ;) Life intervened, however. I honestly just lost track of when it was supposed to occur. Turns out it was noon my time, which is right in the middle of a lot of family commitments. :)

I thought it was for 3pm EST like before, got in about 3:20pm due to getting home late, but there wasn't much happening. Makes sense if it was actually anhour before that... 2pm just isn't going to happen for me on a Sunday. We're just leaving church at best, and have a thirty-five minute drive...

I couldn't get in for technical reasons. I was stuck in the asteroid belt with a damaged ship, every time I tried to go back to the station I crashed to desktop. After an hour of trying, I gave up and did something else.

Actually i could have been there, and sort of was, my 26 year old son had come back for the weekend for mothers day and was curious about what his old man was so fanatical about in a certain game called ED

He finished all the SP missions having never used an X52 pro within an hour(only wave 7 on incursion mind) but only got to the station once in muiltiplayer, before a few CTDs began!

I think ive lost one of my Commander slots! :eek:
