debug tool and pixel overwrite

so i read on the beta forum that it was over! done! no more debug tool bcos the ingame SS now worked.
I was happy for awhile there, because it is annoying to have the debug tool open all the time.

but boy did i get disapointed. did blind people report it worked? because it still doesnt. :(

as far as I can tell it works but it only goes up to 1.25... I want to go higher than that!

never mind, goes up to 2.0 missed the slider on the right! And again as far as I can tell it works great! ;)

so I tried 3 settings now and I see a huge difference so for me 2.0 works great! But I am at work and didn't leave the station yet... inside its all great though including the text in the hud...

The setting in the ED options menu is "HMD Quality" - that's the one that's the same as the debug tool.

The in-game SS is as it was, a bit more expensive. Use HMD Quality - its default at 1.0, set it to 1.25 or 1.5, depending on taste etc.

Tried HMD SS 1.5, amazing clarity but virtually useless when approaching a station, planets, etc. Huge frame drops, down to 10 FPS. SS 1.25 is more of a compromise but still comes at a cost in terms of FPS drop.GTX1080 (2x), 32GB RAM, Intel 750 NvMe SSD, i7-4770@4.5 GHz.Hopefully they will be able to optimize the code a bit more. At least we can see what's possible as long as everything is stationary, clarity and the new visuals are stunning!
