You have collected money from us and used it in other projects, at least I support the game that WE bought!

On a long enough time scale, all software is just pay-for-early-access. I know you wanted horizons to cost extra money forever, but from a development standpoint it makes more sense to get everyone up to date in order to increase the potential playerbase they can sell the next DLC to.
If you don't want to pay for Odyssey, I suggest you wait 6 or 7 years and see if it still costs money.
When I was a kid, maybe 25 years ago, I spent a lot of my allowance on SNES and gameboy games which I can now just download as ROMs. I'm not crying that I should have waited though.

People who bought the expansions before the latest expansion of a game comes out, gets to play that content long before other people(IE It's like people who buy games day1, when down a road, a ultimate edition or whatnot would come out).

They could only conceivably improve upon their revenue from it by talking to Chris Roberts about how to replace that actual DLC with a massive .jpg gallery of promised future DLC for people to buy.

Or do they use their profits to expand and develop games?
