ED has sub-par anti-aliasing (see this post). So can we get NVIDIA's Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing for ED?
It does so by reducing the rasterization work, but ED Odyssey's problem isn't rasterization, it's a way too large amount of draw calls, especially those that don't have any effect because they are obstructed by other draw instructions. DLSS cannot compensate this.It improves performance a lot so would be nice for players with Nvidia cards.
but only for those with Nvidia RTX cards. that is still quite alot of gamers with NVidia cards that do not have an RTX card.. And they have been pretty expensive for a long time for the majority of potential customers. slowing down adoption.
