Mind the Gap Day 1
For once, a good launch. At one point I think there were 6 of us actually instanced together....
Immediately following launch, we decided to regroup 1000ly out in Open rather than the PG. Better luck was had. Much ing about ensued. I have evidence....
There were a couple of interesting occurrences:
1. Jynx crashed. twice.
2. Cmdr DiscoDave50 was probably the first XBOX Commander on scene at the newly discovered surface base in the rift, arriving approximately 5 minutes after CoR Cmdr Raktavian.
3. Several of us are heading at full speed to the beacon sites, and we will regroup with the main force on the 28th... unless we all get there sooner.

Mind the Gap mission log days 1 and 2.
After some brief confusion regarding the location and mode the two teams would be meeting, I finally met up with the gang.
Followed JT442s beacon down to the surface of a ringed world and found that most everyone had landed, so I adjusted my course and came down at a steep angle right in the middle of the group, only minor damage to my shields this time.
After some fooling around we all split off and headed onwards.
An hour or so later I found an interesting planet with some choice resources (yttrium for days) and made an approach.
40km up and all is good.
20km into the glide and I notice the 1.19g....alright... slow down and take 'er easy.
10m up, gear down..aaaand bang.
70%hull.
Guess I was in too much of a hurry, oh well not far from the bubble so I'll just rush back for repair and be on my way.
Day 2.
Made it 2kly out after the repairs and swapping of my SLF only to realize...I left my poor crew mate at an imperial port.
(Needless to say I ran out of expletives)
So I flip a coin and eat a rebuy to shave time off and grab my crew...
Another 2kly out..and I realize that I have literally made 6kly or more...in a circle. With 2 crashes, one death, and alot of language to make my mother roll in her grave.
Needless to say...this trips bound to be exciting. And expensive

I just got back from a trip. I don't need to go exploring again. I really, really don't need to. I've got stuff to do in the bubble.

ah, now, see I. personally don't much rate the album 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' but the two I mentioned with 'Fat of the Land' (and for a little weight, 'Music for the Jilted Generation'). And you're off.
(kinda like when I strap on the headphones and play TxK on the Vita - hit the 'ZONE')

Thanks, I was quite excited to go there and it felt awesome, my first WR star, no matter that probably a lot of explorers have been here beforer me.
Next thing on my list is a Black Hole, never found one, evrn after quite a number of exploration trips.
