Deep Recon X Presents 'Spring Break'

Okay, it'll be 5:00am for me and I'll be on days off from work. I'll set an alarm!

I'm quite keen to get involved in one of these, but, uh... Well, I'll do my best :)

Going to try to tag along on this; I have gotten some much-needed engineering done on my ASP since I've been back in the bubble. I was going to try out some passenger trips and dust off my combat Vulture for a while, but exploration really is my calling.

Hey - regular Deep Recon X crew - what sort of jump ranges do you play within?

I tend to be comfortable around 25ly for my normal ships, but I won't dip below 20ly, even in my fully combat fit ships. Exploration, at least 30 plus.

I'm at 34-something LY on my combo-ASP now after some engineering, I'll be heading back to a station to fit it back to exploration so hopefully it'll be 36-37 when I finish tinkering with her.

Yeeerrrsss! :D

I'd already finished engineering an exploration Keelback before the 'cheap ships' idea was binned, so to hell with it, I'm sticking with my 33ly Keelback :p

As mentioned on Discord, I'm heading out in advance as I have some pretty heavy work commitments on the weekend... also I'm itching to get started ;)

See you out there CMDRs! o7

I may start toward the first waypoint early as well and meet up with Everyone there. I'm getting restless in the bubble.

I really want to take my Cutter, but the DBX is just so nimble, and I've gotten her to 51ly jump range. Could get the Cutter to 32 if I strip her. Might take a look for more Arsenic, and see if I can't boost the Cutter a bit more.

I'm undecided between my 51ly DBX, 43ly Orca or 33ly Clipper. I'll probably make my mind up 5 mins before departing, infact I'll transfer them all over to Asimov tonight.

I'm having the exact same problem, only it's the DBX, Dolphin, and Cutter. Got all around 40-50ly. I just don't know if I want a nice small nimble ship, or if I want to bring my fighters and extra seats for multicrew possibility.

42ly beluga

Here comes me with the bug fat beluga flying at 42ly jumps

That's where I was at. Had a dbx kitted and ready to go. Then about five minutes before I left I swapped it for the asp explorer. I took off a wee bit early.

I'm taking a 48LY DBX. I've never used one before, and I'm sick of planning turns 10LY in advance with the Conda. If I get sick of it, we're re-passing the bubble in a couple of weeks anyway so I can always ditch it then...
