Before heading out on my current expedition I spent a few months with the kids at our unit in Hillary Dock, where we spent many hours (at least a few dozen more than my wife would have liked) playing this old crafting and survival game. Those were good times, during which many memories were made and a few recorded that have helped keep me sane out here in The Big Empty.
Its not...I mean, I really wouldn't trade that time and those moments for anything, and nothing will ever change that. I just, well, I spend a lot of time exploring surfaces of distant worlds, and everytime (every, single, time) I find myself out where the surface isn't so bright, having already spent hours alone out there, after spending months alone out there, when that errily plesant music begins drifting through the Scarab, I'm thrown into a sudden panic and for a brief moment I am convinced that I absolutely need to jump out RIGHT NOW and start digging before the monsters come out.
