Deinonychus Bug, Starving in front of food

I recently set up a Deinonychus exhibit with only live bait feeders. some of the Deinonychus would bug out after killing a goat and stand in front of it "looking for food" eventually they would die of starvation right there. I observed this when the goat was killed in the water. I'm not certain if it happens on dry land.

Every small carnivores can eat through Live Bait, if there are contracts like "Photograph a dinosaur hunting" and "Photograph a dinosaur eating a carcass"

yes, I know this. That is why it is a 'bug' that they can not eat from live bait feeders at the moment. They kill the goat but don't actually eat from the carcass. Understand?
