Delay in Deinonychus.

They can change it. The people also complaining could also deal with an aspect they don't like. They're both relatively easy tasks to do.

I personally don't think they should change it though ya know. Stick to your guns, Frontier. Not because I don't care how it looks, but because of the sense of entitlement the community has. It's a small detail that doesn't need to be changed. You can manage with an ugly Deinonychus. Modders will probably take care of it eventually. Or we might get other dromaeosaurs down the road.

Or they might change how it looks. There's nothing to suggest they have or will, since its silhouette was seen recently and its unchanged, but they may. It's unlikely. Either way, I'm already over how it looks.

This is how the Deinonychus would be look in the game, after all all species which don't appear in the movies are almost scientificaly correct, so why not it ?

Dinosaurs in the JP lore don't have feathers. We have said this millions of times now. What is so hard to understand?

People just like to complain and whine. It's terrible on Reddit but I have seen some Reddit tier whining and complaining here. This is just one case of it. Complaining about the crest/comb on the Deinonychus is getting old.

If they really follow the lore like you said, all the dinosaur will have a Jurassic Park or Jurassic World style, and that not the case, does that mean that the devs doesn't repect what they said ? In any case, that not a good work from them

The Dinosaurs still have to fit the JP lore which means no feathers. It doesn't matter if they make them some what accurate. There are no feathers in the JP lore. We have explained this so many times to you. You said you were getting a refund on your preorder. Why still post here?

Lore/Canon information can be retconnned. I am happy though that Frontier said they will be looking into this issue.
https://twitter.com/bomarit89/status/944704624451309569?lang=en

Half a year ago they said that, and a month ago it was shown to be unchanged. Again, that's not to say they won't change it, but it doesn't look like they will.

And sure, things can be retconned, but judging from Frontier's way of going about the dinosaurs, they won't be. In fact, I'd say they'd avoid making retcon choices considering they said they want their dinosaurs to feel like JP dinosaurs.

He said he was getting a refund? Yikes!!

As soon as I talk about feathered dinosaurs people flee here ... wow that become to be scary x)
but anyway, I see the video and I'm not ok with this, if devs would do a good work, they would do all the dinosaur with a JP style like the dinosaurs creatures like on the movies, or they do all which are not in the movie accurate, they just did the half of their work, that here too the problem, is not only that they don't add feathers, is that they don't even respect what they said before
Everyone find this Deinonychus totally ugly, and IT will be the possibility to have just one feathered dinosaur in the game, with feathers it will be different of the JP velociraptor thing as they tried to do with this shark-lizard monster

You are still around? I was hoping you got bored about trolling dinosaurs with feathers. The reason people flee is they are absolutely tired of explaining the reason to you over and over and over again why there is no feathers.

Some of the complaining here makes reddit look good. And we know that's saying something.

You think he would just go to the PK forum (if they have one) and wait for that game to come out. If they did have feathers he would start whining about the hands being in the wrong positions.

Yeah, he said he was getting a refund cause the lack of feathers. No joke, it was real.

Then why is he still posting here? He has the right to express his opinion, of course, but complaining about a game that you're not even planning on playing in the first place just seems silly, if you ask me.

Yes - it is kind of cool that Deinonychus could be modified to be Guanlong. And I would prefer Deinonychus(even 70's style head, and crest) in the game over Guanlong any day.

But I would still prefer that it be modified to look like the JP3 raptors. if it is possible. As that would fit with established series canon.

The JP, TLW, and JW raptors all appear to be the same "species" - as they all appear to be roughly the same size (4-5 meters/13-16 feet long, 1.7-2.0 meters/5.6-6.5 feet tall), have the same basic look, with light green to yellow eyes. The main difference by the velociraptors in these 3 films - is basically the skin tones & patterns - which could be simple individual variations. But between the 3 films -there maybe 6-8 different skin tones or patterns.

By comparison - the JP3 raptors - tend to be slightly smaller in size (3.5-4 meters/11.5-13 feet long, 1.5-1.7 meters/5-5.6 feet tall), have a head with a pair of small nasal crests, and orange to red eyes. In addition the JP3 raptors seem to have a very slight different shaped lower jaw (allowing them to grab the eggs).

Because he either is a troll or just wants attention

See my post above. People just like to whine and complain. Especially certain people in the JP/W fanbase.

Do we really need Deinonychus if we've already got Raptors that are practically their stand-in (as far as the JPW theme goes)?

The more the merrier, I say.
Of different Dinosaurs, yeah, but because of the way the Velociraptor is portrayed in JP lore, there's virtually going to be little difference between them; I'd rather the developers focus on a different creature that isn't practically a carbon copy of something we already have.

You say that yet we basically have three different types of Gallimimus, 5 Hadrosaurs, we will most likely have multiple sauropods that look similar. Don't get me wrong, I like them all. But a dupe of the raptors is no big deal.
