Density of EFN values in heatmaps

Yet another small and effortless change that would make a difference:
When activating any of the heatmaps, the track is surrounded with the associate color and values appear along the track. Could be good to have a way of making more EFN values appear along the track in between the values we can already see. Perhaps the numbers could increase in density depending on how close we zoom in to a segment of track... ?
Anyone else here thought the same?
Opinions?

I also have issues with the heatmaps, but density isn't what I am concerned about.
The issue I have is that the current implementation displays information in the places I am not interested in.
It looks like the current implementation displays only one value every fixed length of track.

My suggestion is to display values for :
- Local minimums and local maximums
- Transitions through 0G (for accelerations)
- and then add some values if there are large gaps without values based on the on-screen size of the gap
- show the value highlighted by the mouse cursor

I also suggest a revamp of the colour scheme in order to provide more fine grain of information (transition through or 3 or 4 colours rather than simply 2 at the moment).
As well as the scales of the colours for accelerations : because I'm trying to get fine information in the -2~+5 G Vertical range and 0~1.5 G Horizontal. I wish the game would waste less of the colour range for ridiculous Gs loads.

Ah yes and finally : rename the Horizontal Gs. I'm having lots of problems with the +G and -G on this axis : please change them to Left and Right Gs.

How about just being able to mouse over the track and have a window pop up next to the cursor giving all the EFN (and all the G, and the speed) at the point under the cursor?

Well, sure, as long as I can see more than one value every 25 meters... [happy]
I suggested a distance-related amount of values along the track mainly for... "economy" reasons :) What you suggest would take a slightly more complex editing, codewise. If the devs really want to recode the EFN system and give us an even more complex and extensive visualization, they're totally welcome... but the distance-density thing is already "there", numbers are already being printed along the track, it'd be easy and fast to modify (*cough more likely to happen *cough) [big grin]

But of course! I was envisioning a completely analog display, where you could slide the mouse along the track and see the values change continuously. After all, the data is there, as evidenced by the heat maps themselves. Why not make it accessible?
