Newcomer / Intro Depressed and in need of drink...

So there i was sitting in an bar at Lave, been there for near 20 years farming....how did i become a farmer?
As a youngster I remember being seduced by the fortune and fame watching space go by on my old wire frame HUD with my trusty ZX module attached (the old girl still works, bit dusty but she works). Now I hear some now comers are out there looking for fame and fortune, upgraded ships, computers and the like. Time to dust off the old Cobra and see if she still flies...

Damn it my flight stick is broke!!!! Just payed for an upgrade too, seller at Amazon station tells me 2 weeks for a replacement unit. Two choices The old Keyboard/mouse or wait till parts arrive from Tosche Station...

On the bright side good to see so many taking up the mantle and striving to be Elite once more...

There's a shortage of plastic polymers so, I can understand the wait... Metals are in a much more abundant supply.

Many old timers have heard the call, and returned once again to take up the call to elite. Welcome back brother! I must admit, these new fangled youngins with their fancy HOTAS thingamajiggers sure don't know there way around the trusty mouse and keyboard! Good luck out in the deep black!
