Looks pretty good and brought back some fond memories of the first game I ever had for a PC (came bundled with a win 95 Packard Bell).
Cheap to back so why the hell not.

I wont be backing it, but it looks like it has potential.. watched the multiplayer video they have on there though.. and wow... who ever was playing is TERRIBLE..

i think he scored maybe 3 hits the whole video!

too bad they made the ships into a bunch of drones.. i really liked the design of the original

I was aware of it, but never played Descent. Looks very 'twitchy' and the pace might be a bit too frenetic for my taste. Anyway: I see that they reached their goal - congratulations to fans.

It is essentially a FPS but with 6DOF, what makes it compelling is the cramped spaces in which all the action happens, and the evolution in thinking required over a classic FPS (like CoD) to be able to play in the full 3D environments.
