Welp, just submitted 3 variants of the same design for the Cobra Mk.III ...

1) "Sharp Mint"



2) "Sharp Bling"



Perhaps the grey can be chrome, silver, or gunmetal, the yellow could be gold

3) "Dangerous Victory"

I was wondering about the non paint areas - the weapon mounts on the Cobra are definitely paintable though (check https://www.frontierstore.net/game-extras/elite-dangerous-game-extras/cobra-pirate-faction.html )

I looked at old dazzle camouflage from the First World War. As far as I know it was used to disguise the shape and direction of the ships by having all these contrasting shapes/lines and it looks really interesting. Because the Anaconda is EDs battle ship I thought it'd be cool to see some dazzle paint on them.

This was really confusing to do, but I think it's turned out quite well.

Aye that they are - but I reckon Frontier get the idea well enough - I suspect any winning paint job wouldn't necessarily be exactly the way they were submitted anyway

If the red dot was a bit more to the right it would sit exactly on the power plant .

Without that, you can't even make a real design, as sides and bottom count as much and aren't necessarily just a repeat of what's on top.

Was planning to make an Anaconda luxury yacht design with white and teak yacht references in specific places, rather than smearing some arbitrary design all over it.

And a british racing green version of the same ^^

The right one could work very well as a universal rescue ship, for example medical, too.
