That had nothing to do with it, he could not see the planet on his system info. He needed to scan the system nav beacon or scan with an advanced discovery scanner.

Stupid_Hippy did a great job for me. Thank you very much.
I have to say it took a while to understand the advanced scanner button. I kept pressing it quickly and only got noise.
Sometime later I held the button down and the blue loading slider got me all the info. I guess I have always been a slow learner.
