Horizons Destroyed by allied station's security with no reason, is this a bug?

Hi:


Yesterday i was delivering a cargo consisting in three units of galium to Aulin Enterprise in Aulin a mission originated in Evans Port in Paruti. Once i requested permission for landing that was granted by the station i was suddenly atacked by the police, without any warning. I have no criminal records because i play as explorer and merchant and this faction is supposed to be allied with the federation. I am allied to Zachary Hudson.
Can anybody explain me what happened?
I tell you that i am very annoyed [mad] because i lost a lot of very expensive cargo plus the ensurance i.e. more than 1 million cr.
I want to know if this is a bug if it is possible to claim this credits back.

If you feel you were killed by a bug in the game, you should submit a ticket. Frontier Support deals with those sorts of issues, and they have been known to refund credits if the loss was caused by a bug.

You were most likely "in the way" when the station security killed a wanted npc, the station weapons were boosted to cope with engineer modded ships so depending on what you are flying you could be one shotted by mistake. In the future if you see weapons fire around the station try and stay well clear although its not always possible :)

Were you scanned by the Police just before they attacked you? If so, you probably carried something that is illegal in that jurisdiction. It surely wasn't the Gallium but maybe you carried other stuff?

Fire-fights sometimes break out between users or between security forces and pirates right outside the mail-slot. I have flown through several of these as I exit stations. Once or twice I wondered why the station was opening up on me before I realized they were shooting at someone near me. Luckily I have not been hit, yet.
