I would be happy with a 'select next astronomical body' button...going back and forth the navigation tab to select unexplored bodies IS indeed tedious...and the 'select target ahead' is not precise enough when you have more than few planets/stars in the field of view.

I still have to go and select it, and the list es limited in size. If it's a long-range jump and there are a lot of other systems around in range, then it will not show up. as I already wrote.

They have added a hotkey to "select next target on route". You just have to map it and use it. Just the click of a button.
