yeah but i can loose. i can loose i dont have to always win like private and solo want. i can loose a regular match in open, hands down, you win your better and more than us.
always win in private / solo? not sure i follow that logic.
Is it not a numbers game? the more combat bonds, missions etc you turn in the greater the influence you have over the minor faction to push the system into a new state. I don't see how a pilot in solo is natively better at accomplishing missions then me while in open.
Now i do agree, in open my progress can be hampered due to other players. but their actions are tied up dealing with me and not pushing their sides agenda. so we both lose out in the struggle because the end result is the numbers.

this is your personal experience.
for example a large group of player years ago destroyed us in a cz because they play solo and they was more than us (but probably not better in a face to face)

Forgive me,
But if you don't want to play in "open play", what's the point of the reward being the same? I think it should be less, for example. If I take the risk of breaking out and you don't, does that mean I'm dumber than you?

Forgive me but, you both joined the forum in 2015 and, have no memory of the Hotel California mega threads? Wow, very well done in avoiding all of that!

Okay. In summary - unless you can unify all the PC, PS4, and XBOX players into a single instance, and unify all the different time zones such that we all play at the exact same time, then the mode any single Cmdr chooses it utterly and completely irrelevant to any other single Cmdr.

As an aside, if you don't see the other players how do you know anything about them at all? (Hint: some people lie and exaggerate on the internet). They may have been a public group playing in a different time-zone, also complaining about solo players.

So.... apart from it 'not being fair that people play in different instances', what is this thread actually about? Is there a TL:DR?

you cannot use your combat bonds if i wait you in supercruise to avoid you to deliver it.
with your logic: more player always win. with my logic, more player can win, but have to take risk.

i remember the open v solo v private topic.
in 2015 we still enjoy the game, actually the game was the same of 2015 with some better screenshot to make and we are bored.

That would be the point i was reaching for. If your waiting to pull me from supercruise so i cant deliver combat bonds, means your also not contributing to your minor faction of choice. so in that situation the end result is null. your faction and mine are not receiving any influence.
seems reasonable to assume the side with a larger number of players will deliver more combat bonds. Even in open i think this would hold true would it not?
If the smaller faction was to busy trying to devide forces, half stopping progress, the other half collecting combat bonds. and the apposing larger faction did nothing but deliver combat bonds. the balance would still lean to the larger faction due to volume.
Faction A Size 10, Faction B size 20
Faction A (5) - halt progress, (5) deliver
Faction B (20) - Deliver
Faction A Progress - 5 Deliveries for Minor faction
Faction B Progress - 15 Deliveries for Minor faction.

...For me it's definitely an act of love for a game that has given me emotions, giving daily new goals to our Squadron despite the subjects mentioned above are not facilitating us....

I've not read your magnum opus, sorry, too many words, but I saw the word 'Squadron'.

I think that changing to focus of FC to being for any-one and not keeping them for Squadrons was a mistake. However, to assuage all the heat what from solo players was/is needed are 'Deep Space Vessels' capable of taking a handful of a Cmdrs ships out on long trips to 'wherever'. With standard running and maintenance costs, and perhaps a repair facility, this would have filled the need for solo players, been at an intermediary price-point, whilst also giving squadrons something to focus their efforts on.

It comes down to my feeling that to broaden the gameplay orthogonal (non monetary) rewards are needed, and perhaps allowing for professions (not guilds!) to exist with many branches of level achievement rewards' would help in this regard.
