It may surprise you know that Elite Dangerous is not the only thing going on in the world!

There was a developer update stream scheduled for today that was cancelled, people are expressing displeasure at that, in repsonse you were citing the head of rendering and planetary tech hosting LGBTQ Pride stream, seemingly as a defensible substitute. I don't give two monkies about the good doctors persuasion, or what letter of the ever growing rainbow acronym they identify with, but many people believe that the dev update stream was scrubbed because of a scheduling conflict with the pride stream, and that is not a good optic.

So TLDR "we are working on things and plan to fix/improve things". Same as previous roadmap.

We got more info this time, we now know that they don't know what the issues are.

because space games are a niche market - just better known brands can really get a foothold in it.

We understand that this may not be as much information as people may have wished for, but we hope that the open and transparent nature of this update means that you’ll bear with us while we pull those together.

The part where the devs should be live today talking about whatever they were about to talk (since we always get little to no info) and it was changed 2 days before, and then on the same day Dr. Ross is doing another stream on her free time, and you mention it here.
This is NOTHING against Dr. Ross, this is about running from promises, then coming here and "oh the dev is on another stream" like if this does matter to the topic being discussed right now (specially cause she's on her free time, not at work as you said so)

Dr Kay is hosting and running - in her own time - a fundraising stream for A chairty that supports LGBTQ youth.

Frontier are Supporting her in this endeavour.

NOTE: none of that has anything to do with Elite.

In her own time - not at work, not representing FD, simply doing things that are important to her.

If you are not ok with that.... tough.

Let me correct you, during kickstart and after that they said ship interiors where one of the major parts they would liek to see in elite and would work towards.....so yes, they have stated they would come just not a timeframe

7 years ago, it was part of their vision.

it was even stated that all assets and ships were modeled and built in such a way that make it possible to add it later on.

fastforward to Odyssey, "we have no plans" and "we need to rework the whole game to add them" so both statements by M. Braben was a complete and utter . and if plans change why not communicate it with us?

after Odyssey and the way they talk about the game and what's next, do you really think they will be adding atmospheric planets? LOL... that would be so much more work than ship interiors.

The those people need to get some perspective and get back to reality.
