At the same gamma setting, Horizons looks much better and much consistent (space, ship, hangar, planetary surface)
EDO had different lighting in any of those circumstances. Like they applied individual fixes and not general ones.
'
looks much better' is a subjective opinion though. I mean I agree with what you're saying about individual changes to elements rather than a blanket change, that's an objective statement, but the
outcome of that in terms of how it looks is subjective for each of us. I mean come on, there have been graphics mods for the game for years that people used to specifically make elements
darker and used to rave about them because that was their personal preference for how the game looked to them.
My only point was that someone refusing to alter any of their settings for this game and demanding that it's 'fixed' to their eyes is ridiculous precisely because someone else will doubtless look at the 'fixed' version and say it's too light/still too dark/too yellow or whatever, which is
exactly why we have user controls for this stuff in the first place.
