If you ever get around to putting a bridge on the FC where the commander can be a commander and get the ATC to greet the owner respectfully I'd consider getting one.

Odyssey will never release on console.
Prove me wrong.
Its like you console players need the same poor experience PC players are dealing with. If they released it now the only thing you all would do is complain about the poor performance as well. Fdev knows this. When it runs well on PC you will get it on console. Never before that. Trying the edgy "prove me wrong" line will not make it happen any faster.

That was exactly my point. While I like Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. Its clear by reviews that plenty of people are still upset with it. No point pushing it to consoles if over 50% of the player base hates it. 30% I could see but not 50%

I'm so afraid of our FC look like exactly the same Station interiors or Megaship interiors. If so, SO please; DO NOT implement FC interior to the game.
I'm sure sooner or later their will be customization options. Like 20k Arx for a slightly different railing.

Really please to see development continuing at a great pace. I'm really looking forward to the emotes - will make role playing player interaction much better.

No please DO implement it even it that is the case. Of course I expect to be able to purchase FC interior customisations in future...but don't let that hold up social spaces on FCs.

Buying ARX to support you guys and looking forward for the Fleet Careers interiors, that would be really "party" places :D

True... but at the same time, what benefit does improving the PC experience really bring to console players in terms of performance? Even if FDev bring Odyssey up to an acceptable standard on PC, that in no way means doing the same on last-gen consoles will be trivial. Because let's remember that FDev have already said they're not investing in the latest console platforms, and this is borne out by XSX and PS5 only being able to play Elite via their respective backwards compatibility layers.

It's difficult to see how they can possibly make getting Odyssey to run on PS4 or Xbox One profitable... that ship has already sailed.

So I agree with Orby's statement, even though the manner in which it was put leaves a lot to be desired.

There's an inclination to think that all PC players are running supercomputers far above and beyond the realms of measly consoles, whereas two of the top 3 graphics cards in the Steam 2021 survey are mid range offerings, released in 2016.

That's still far beyond the capability of the PS4 or the Xbox One... the two consoles FDev have committed to supporting for the foreseeable future.

Far beyond is a bit of an overstatement , I'd say. Especially when we throw the mid-gen PS4 Pro and Xbox into the mix, and the current gen PS5/XSX/S. The main point is though, the argument that 'it needs to work on PC first' is flawed (as the lifecycle of many other [most] popular games proves).

Fleet Carrier interiors will make multicrew in TEAM far far easier between my Squadron.
Sometimes people either just dont have the ship for the mission or dont feel like flying OR want to pilot a fighter without leaving AI to control their ship.
Also Multi Crewing outside of bubble will now be possible this is all Very good things to put into the game.

Would be slick if we could put Items we Found and bought into the FC stores for instance Tier 3 armor and weapons for sale to our Squadron so if i find one i can just put it in the FC for teammates later.. that would be nice. but cant be too picky.
