Am I missing something...this seems like the exact same thing.. We have no dates... We will be updating and adding features..ooooold news. Ahh Mac will come.. Sometime.. Again old news..

Very very nice! I would love to see more content and variety. And also some "coop" kinda missions...imagine if for example we can get one of those trading missions but instead of one ship carrying the cargo you can use multiple ships (friends) to get that cargo to other system/station.
Also as someone from the Spanish community it would be cool to see the UI and mission dialogue in our beloved language. We are a lot that play Elite and more will be coming if Spanish will also be included in the language (as also other languages from EU). Translate just the text, I love the English voices though.

Well, it was announcement saying Michael/FD will post *regular* (keywords here) what's coming. As long as Michael specifies how frequent these updates are, that's more than we have now.
Why wouldn't they? Would make zero sense to have a separate galaxy just for the mac client or the beta, it's the client they are testing after all not the galaxy. Hopefully we'll have multiple commander slots in place by this time too.
Can't come soon enough as is getting annoying having to bootcamp windows and not be able to flip to do work without rebooting or using a non-bootcamped machine.

Yeees!!!! Fantastic, i enjoying ED a lot, but want more multiplayer content, pvp and pve as well. That is why i'm exited about the coming update. ED universe is great, but need to fill it with content. I'm sure with time it will happen, keep up the good work and thanks for the team, bringing to us ED.
ps.: One day i would love to jump in to wormholes, explore far away star systems and many natural wonders at the other side of Milky way Unlocking ancient history of the universe as well in a shiny exploration vessel with cloak capability. Well, it's just a dream, but i continue support the game and sorry for my bad english.
Yes, you are missing 'something.' He said they are working on finalizing their timelines and other details. As soon as they have nailed down details that can be shared, they will. This is only Day 4 since their return from the holiday break, so they are still working on all of that. It is just very welcome to be hearing from Michael regularly (every day so far) that they aren't ignoring us (which only the really obstinate among us have been suggesting) and are working to give us more reliable, concrete specifics for us as soon as they can.
Hang on, Christmas has passed already... <sharp intake of breath> are we getting more presents!!!

Just to further clarify, by beta access, you mean people with BOTH beta access AND prepaid expansion passes, right? Otherwise you might end up in the odd situation of people having beta access and then their access getting revoked upon final release if they don't buy the expansion.
