Diamondback Explorer - 4A SCO FSD - Incompatible slot

On my Diamondback Explorer I fitted a class 5A SCO FSD without any issues and engineered it.
A standard class 3E FSD can also be fitted, you wouldn't want to fit one but you can if you want to.
...however when trying to fit a class 4A SCO FSD is says incompatible slot.
Am I missing something or is this a similar bug to the incompatible slot msg when trying to add any existing modules to the new Python II?

I thought it was stated in the original release of the SCO that it couldn’t be undersized.
I haven't seen that in any SCO-related posts or GalNets. But given that it is nearly 1 AM here, I might not have my memory functioning at its best. Cannot see a mention in the 18.02 patch notes though...

Smaller SCO drives get a faster overcharge speed/better max speed multiplier with less control interference… so maybe that’s why?

Can’t be sure though.
Not to mention heat. Overcharge fuel consumption isn't listed in the stat block but it's also much lower on smaller ones.

SCO flight characteristics improve pretty dramatically on smaller drives, and those stats are not impacted by the ship's size or mass so you'd end up with performance far outside of your weight class. Like the supercruise equivalent of letting you install a 7A FSD into a DBX.
