Did anyone just get an Email about a "new and improved" gold paint job?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to drop in and assure everyone that this email is legitimate and was sent from ourselves earlier today. If you do have any concerns, do let me know!

Just got that e-mail and I have no clue what it is about. Mysteries are nice, but I like not having to engage Canonn to decipher e-mail from FD.

Do I understand it correctly that FD just send me and e-mail notifying me that they fixed a paint-job I have?
Why?

We're just full of surprises :)

And incredibly bad at communicating with your customers.

Is it automatically updated for people who had it before? Or is it a new buy?

Who knows, I guess even FD doesn't know.

When I click the link to redeem, it just takes me to the account management page with my orders. How do I select the free skin please?

I got one. Emails are send out in batches to avoid spam filters on ISP's. Be patient.

Thanks, but in-game stuff wasn't my reason for making this thread. It was concern as to whether my Email had been compromised. Thankfully, as our FDev has confirmed, there's nothing to worry about.

Wasn't the first one for free ? Hmm...

Basically it's a rehash. If you own the old version, you've been "upgraded" to the new version.

That's my understanding anyway.

Didn't see any mention of this being newly available for purchase at the ED store just now.
 
Somehow I've got a gold Asp Explorer paint, can't recall from where.

But I'll have to remember to drop in and see the changes

Yes it appears to be for those who bought the limited edition gold paintjob that was on sale a while back.

I bought the one for the Conda on 31/01/2016, for £10 GBP.
 
I have the same mail. Can't play at the moment, but when I back home, I'll check my hangar! Thank you Frontier. Much appreciated

Hello again guys,

Instead of quoting everyone and replying, I'll answer questions in one post here so everyone can take a look.

1) The email has been sent to anyone who already owns a Gold Paint Job. This email is to let you know you've been given a new, free updated Golden Paint Job alongside the one you already have.
2) You do not need to redeem anything or go to any sites to purchase this Paint Job, it's already in your livery if you are eligible!
3) If you have not yet received your email, please be patient as it can take up to 24 hours for all emails to be sent and received by your provider. However, you should already have access to the new Golden Paint Job, so check in game.

If you have any further concerns, or you do not receive your email/Paint Job and you believe you are eligible, please get in touch with our Support Team who'll be more than happy to assist you.
