Did Colonization Starports change material requirements?

UPDATE: Apparently FDev decided to make the materials required to build stations a random variable. According to the pilot posting, it's not a bug.

I must say I am extremely disappointed in FDev. They made Engineering blueprint components much better by requiring each mod matching the times you had to upgrade.
They added SCO FSDs so we can get where we need to without flying for an hour.
Then they do this. What a crock.
It may not be a bug but it's just stupid, annoying and a pain in the butt.
Apparently there's still a sadistic entity out there...

I'm afraid if I post this in the System Colonization Feedback page it will get lost.

I used the spreadsheet created by DaftMav and the post by Vasja to determine the materials required to build a Coriolis Starport.
The materials required in-game appear to be the same as required by the Ocellus. See the WIKI for the Coriolis.
For example, the spreadsheets both say I will need 10055 Aluminium. The in-game Colonization Ship Colonization Effort shows after I have dropped quite a bit of Aluminium I still need 11620 tons.

Have the requirements changed? I could have sworn it was easier to build the Coriolis than the Ocellus (can't find an online list for the Ocellus)

I hope someone can straighten me out or let me know things have changed!

First station in the system has increased cost by 20% to 30%, I am not sure.

Also each new build has slightly different numbers - random generator is included and also I think state of the system may influence this as well

Read down the thread you linked a little, this comment in particular. First station costs for a Coriolis are about 30% increased on the numbers in your sources. This was mentioned in one of the FDEV streams as an "additional cost for infrastructure" or similar. Unfortunately last time I checked the colonisation contact was giving the base numbers, not including the 30% hike.

I'd be surprised if Coriolis costs had now become 3x bigger to match Ocellus as you suggest, but we can't tell without a full set of numbers. You could sum up your colonisation ship requirements list to check. A Coriolis shopping list should sum to about 70k tons, whereas for an Orbis or Ocellus about 250k tons would be expected, total. (The "infrastructure" additional cost for Ocellus/Orbis seems to be about 16%.)

I'm trying to get the materials required list from an uncolonized system that offers the Coriolis Quad Truss Starport so I can compare with the information I have. I've asked my squadmates if someone can get screenshots of the information in a system near my colonization. Hopefully that will help me figure out the differences.

Update: I was able to start a claim and get the required materials information for a Coriolis Quad Truss station.

First, it requires 10055 Aluminum which is the amount I saw in the build requirements and spreadsheets. The other mats match DaftMav's spreadsheet

Something is wrong here. Same type station, different requirements.

There's a random variation in amounts. Don't trust someone else's spreadsheet. And there's an increased cost for the first port, 34% more for Coriolis. None of this is a bug.

I found the info by playing the game...
I tried to make my own spreadsheet then found as soon as I tried to use it the numbers didn't match once I started building something.
I built 2 Coriolis in the same system, first one required 70k ish commodities, second one 50k ish.
Other people have reported similar (but different) increase percentages for the initial outposts and Tier 3 ports.

Yeah, Zador said above that the materials are random amounts. That's just stupid. They fixed Engineering so you only had to update 5 times for the level 5 update instead of 6-8.
Apparently there are still some sadistic programmers there...
