Difference between defeat & total defeat

Hi all, can anyone tell me if the difference between defeat & total defeat in the new war/civil war system? And likewise for victory/total victory?

Thanks
We believe there is no difference. It is there to let you know how many days you have won or lost. 1 day = close victory. 2 days = victory. 3 days = total victory.
Then if someone is working against you it will go back down. We think....

At a guess I think its the INF reward thats different: victory = 1.5% and total victory 4%
I tend to go with Marcus. We are told influence is locked until the end of the conflict but we saw our faction move 5% of influence but in the daily state it showed us as 'DRAW' The draw was definitely correct and all I have ever witnessed is the incremental rise or drop as described by Marcus BUT......... I am too lazy to keep fighting OR, I have left the fighting for a couple of days, so have really never saw the need to go up to Total victory. Apart from the one system doing its own thing with influence, our experience has been we get 4% influence for a win. We have only had one draw and that was early on soI am not happy about talking too much about that experience.
