Dinosaurs Dinocam!

Your Feature Request / Idea
Ok, last post on photography minigame I promise. Fallen Kingdom put GoPros on the Raptors, so why can't we? Another great way to get action shots for the marketing people. There should probably be a chance of it getting destroyed if the dino gets in a fight.

Two ways I would consider implementing this. Easiest would probably be to have the ACU tranq a dino, and give a ranger team an option to install the cam on a tranq'd dino. Another possibility, more complicated but with a greater range of potential for other upgrades would be to add a mechanical upgrade tab to the genetic modification page. This would then be one such available modification... Others (included for concept, not wishlist) might be enhanced tracking and tranquilizing options or even going so far as armor or weapons)

I don't remember that on Fallen Kingdom...I think you're talking about the Indominus hunt in Jurassic World.

I like your idea of putting cameras on tranquilized dinos, though I'd make a few suggestions:
The camera should fall after some time, after taking X amount of pictures at random (X could be upgraded through researchs).
Not every dinosaur taked picture will be valuable: Mamenchisaurus height make for great aerial shots but since it likes forest a lot smaller dinos will be barely if any visible.
Raptors socializing make for great photos as well, but since they also love running most pictures end up being blurry. The T-rex camera didn't took the wanted goat-slaying sequence but just some minutes of visitors walking past the fence while the predator was sleeping...etcetera.

As for "mechanical upgrades"...I don't like the idea of cyborg dinosaurs in a Jurassic Park thing, but they already have tracking devices (that's why you can see your dinos in the map even if they're in the forest)

You're quite correct. I was a bit fatigued, and had just recently watched Fallen Kingdom, so my brain made an error. And yeah, some dinos would definitely be better than others for this, but if you go to the effort of including it in the programming for some, may as well do it for all... who's to say there might not be a niche use for those high altitude shots :) And again, I agree, "cyborg dinosaurs" is -probably- not the way to go, but I wouldn't rule out the potential.
