Dinosaur tails seem boneless or broken

Greetings everyone!
Is it just me that, when watching the different gameplays of the early access JWE2 on YouTube, noticed that the majority of the dinosaurs (especially the carnivores except maybe the carnotaurus and small therapods like the ceolophysys and such) seem to have a boneless or even broken tail? What i mean is basically when you notice the animations of some dinosaurs moving the tail looks like it has no bones and just wiggles around to the point it looks broken.. Look closely at the exit animations for example on Edmontosaurus or Maiasaura. Maybe this is me being peeky about something that is on the way of getting fixed but if we talking about this being a better version of the previous game i think that this should be addressed. What you think? Only me that noticed it?

I realized that too. The movement of some dinosaurs is as strange as Allosaurus. The tail of T.rex and Carnotaurus, Baryonyx is moving well, but most dinosaurs seem to move the tail strangely, as if there were no bones. Fortunately this can be corrected in a while

If you watch Best in Slot's video showcasing all the herbivores and carnivores you'll see that clearly!! I noticed that ceratopsids and also the majungasaurus in particular have really nice and smooth tail movements as well, but the rest not so much unfortunately. I do hope this gets a fix or a patch to make those movements smooth and more realistic.. From the previous Jwe1 most of these tail animations were fine besides Carnotaurus and baryonyx that looked like they had a log for a tail because it looked so still and firm that almost didn't move when they were walking. Looks like they addressed these ones but broke the rest of them 😂.. This may be a minor detail but i think it will improve the experience and add a little more realism. Nothing they can't fix I hope. Just wanted to get this out there so frontier can look up our suggestions ✌🏻

Seriously why did Frontier change the rigs of the dinosaur models when they were totally fine in the first game? Now they all look like their tails are broken and I really hate the wiggling animation. Just look at these images. They are terrible!

I know right!? I did like what they did with the Carno and Baryonyx cause honestly in Jwe 1 it looked like their tails had no animations cause they were so sturdy, but those are the only ones i like in jwe2 the rest looks like they forgot to add a bone structure or smth. Frontier if your reading this can you please look into it?? It may seem small but will actually improve the experience for us players as they will look and feel even more alive. Thanks :)

Oh this is definitely not a small problem. I hope Jens sees this and reply back to us. If not, I am going to make a separate thread with more visual evidences. lol

I like how people are agreeing and talking about this. After all this is an animation issue, and the game is all about the animations of the animals, so yeah not a small problem indeed my friend. Hopefully next patch this will be addressed

I would also like to know if this will be addressed in the next update or anytime in the future. I hope I am wrong, but my gut is telling me that this won't be fixed...

In the previous game updates often included tweaks to animation to make it look better. It's certainly possible that the devs will tweak things like the tail in this game as well. Before the game released, some Youtubers noticed that many dinosaurs did that weird sidestepping. And the devs improved this before the release. The dinosaurs still sometimes sidestep a little, but it doesn't look as weird as it did. So personally I have hope that they will look into it. If not this update probably for another update.
