Hey symphonic jedi!
Was this a recent occurrence? Could you let me know about the size of the lagoon, what speed you were playing at, if this happened off-camera or while you were looking at the Plesiosaur? Any additional information should help
Hi Jens,
Sorry for the delay in responding, I don't come to the forums very often.
The event involving the plesiosaur occurred either the day I made the post or the day before as it was still ongoing at that point. As it happens I had a reoccurrence involving an Elasmosaurus from the same lagoon just last night. The lagoon in question consists of 7 lagoon sections and currently houses 4 Elasmosaurus, 2 Kronosaurus and 5 Plesiosaurus. I always play at standard 1x speed, occasionally pausing if there is a sudden dinosaur escape to assess the situation. I can only presume it happens off camera as I only noticed it when looking at the map overview. After a bit of mucking about with the terrain tools I managed to lower the ground sufficient to expose the animal allowing the Capture Team to tranquilise it and thus allow me to return it to its lagoon.
In case its relevant, the park I have built currently houses a total of 317 animals spread across 74 species. I have had spurious escapes from intact powered enclosures by members of the following species; Albertosaurus, Baryonyx, Cearadactylus, Coelophysis, Dilophosaurus, Elasmosaurus, Gallimimus, Icthyosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Plesiosaurus, Maaradactylus, Struthiomimus, Suchomimus, Tapejara and Troodon at numerous points throughout the build of the park. I can't recall the precise population of animals within the park when it started to happen.
These are only the ones that I can remember. There may have been others. I am playing the sandbox mode as close to normal gameplay as possible (i.e Infinite Power off, Status Checks on etc.)
I am wiling to provide a copy of the save file if necessary if there is a way to do so from Xbox.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
Edited: added Albertosaurus to list off spurious escapes from intact enclosures.
