What happens if I disable planetary vehicle hangar for power saving while dogfighting ? Is it safe ot vehicle will be released into the space ?

You can disable the cargo hatch too, but cargo won't fly off into space.
You just can't operate the cargo scoop.
Pretty sure disabling the PVH just means you can't deploy your SRV.
So it should be safe to disable during flight (keyword: should).
Worst case your SRV is jettisoned... a new one is only around 1000 credits (iirc from restock page). So not a huge loss.

Imagine your face when your SRV is being accidently jettisoned, hitting the 1 in 10,000 chance when you are 30kly far out... Thats not a 1000 credit loss... that would be hell... and worth a photo

Im pretty sure if you disable the cargo hatch that can happen, Im sure its happened to me before.
Last time I had cargo hatch disabled I was unable to use the Cargo Scoop. It simply wouldn't deploy.
Now, if the cargo scoop doesn't deploy, then how does cargo escape?
I always disable my cargo hatch and I've yet to lose any cargo.
Module can be disabled and the SRVs are fine, won't get ejected.
Yep standard practice on ships with power issues.
Fair enough, maybe it was getting shot at, at the time!
Or maybe it was a bug, but I am pretty sure I did disable it once and lost some of my cargo.

Cargo will auto eject if the cargo hatch is damaged, overheating the ship can also cause cargo to eject (side effect of the module damage) My cargo hatch has always been shut down on all my ships, only switch it on when needed.
