Discovered ... 99 objects

The most I found was 72 and yes, most of them were worthless asteroid belts. I believe that asteroids should be discovered as part of a detailed level 2 or 3 scan (which are placeholders at the moment).

My paranoia gets the better of me now and then in case FD reward discovery rights for 'roids, so I sometimes scan them. Then there's the OCD aspect of exploring ...

This is a HUGE and easily fixed flaw. Just give planets a 1/100 chance of having some interesting anomalous result like non-carbon based life, old spaceship wreckage discovered, archological ruins found, etc. Give these finds a high value. Suddenly folks will become a lot more careful to scan all planets in the system looking for that jackpot discovery and finding it should have a little notification and make you feel special.

I've been scanning for a week now in deep space and not found anything really interesting or unusual.

Then last night I finally found not one, but two Earth-likes !

Space eh ? *rolls eyes*

I don't get why asteroid belts are worth zero credits for scanning. Those things are full of precious resources!

I think asteroid clusters should be even more valuable than ice planets.

Yeah, i had to go 1400ly away to find one. I will post the video, as the thread is visited by a lot of true explorers ;)

I got one with 111 - my first thought was a misplaced digit...
I should have a screenshot - I'll add it when I have found it

And here it is - sorry, but full HD resolution was too small for everything to fit :D
