Greetings Commanders - Happy Monday.

Coming in hot for you this afternoon, as we head into another week, kicking off with Discovery Scanner.

Let's have an great week ahead o7

A few little recaps of recent memories today, as well as taking a much loved moment to spotlight and celebrate Commanders.

In addition, noted in the 'Game News' section: This Thursday's maintenance tick brings with it some 'Thargoid War' rebalance work. More details to follow.

With that, Commanders, here's wishing you a fun and productive week, in whatever you do, even if it's simply taking a moment or two to bask. You do you. The Galaxy is yours.

We'll be in touch with any updates to information as we pass.

Starting tomorrow, I, and a battalion of like-minded CMDRs are forming an armada of over a million ships and fleet carriers in a journey to the Thargoid homeworld ("Tell us of your homeworld Usul").

Upon arrival, drop ships will deploy heavily armoured (no caustic rot for these puppies!) SRVs and troops with new, experimental boomsticks (shop smart, shop S-Mart) to take the war to those multi-legged vermin in a revenge theatre of astronomical murder with a view to an extinction event of their kind.

They don't like it up 'em.

Come on you apes!

It'd be nice to have some sort of galnet justification for thargoid war changes.

IE, "AX researchers find new ways to utilize Tissue Samples! This has allowed them to be used not only for scientific research, but also to confuse thargoid scanners, weakening their tactical deployments, and increasing their value for the war effort."

Makes things feel a bit more authentic.

bit more authentic.

Authenticity went out the window a long time ago ;)

Remember how the Thargoid onslaught became weaker after the remaining seven maelstroms arrived? Implying that there's finite number and arrival rate for them, which was now being split up between eight maelstroms?

Now, the CG text says additional maelstroms could arrive... Why? To give humanity an even better chance of stopping them? Hilarious.

What's the point of having eight witchspace gates over one, when one gate is sufficient for their fleet? What's the point of opening up 8 vulnerable front lines if you can have one incredibly powerful?

Seems like the Thargoids want to be defeated.

Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
